The farm
At SlowGrow the focus is healthy, flavourful food and the development of growing methods.
We grow vegetables, arable crops and specialist crops on about 20 hectares of land in Gossau and Mönchaltorf that is entrusted to us. Since 2013 we have been working on a regenerative approach to the humus layer.
Diverse production fields and living soil are meant to give plants good growing conditions. Our aims go beyond organic and Demeter standards. One example:
"After harvest our crops leave the soil better than before sowing!"
Farm and pick-up are the same place: Im Eichhof 1, 8617 Mönchaltorf. In Gossau we farm further land.
More than 150 varieties of grain, vegetables, fruit and berries. Grown without pesticides and without synthetic fertilisers.
