Mosaic farming
SlowGrow and HofLabor together form a productive trial farm.
HofLabor grew out of SlowGrow's research, development and trial work. Innovation has its own home there. The arable and garden team at SlowGrow focuses on growing, tending, harvest and sales.
Mosaic farming is the cropping system both work on: strips, traffic lanes, cover crops, mulch and mechanical methods that spare soil life. New methods are meant to meet several environmental aims at once.
Together with HofLabor's pioneer network we cultivate a research spirit on farms. HofLabor began its work in early 2021, with support from individuals, foundations, companies and organisations, and in cooperation with universities and specialists.
